We are responsible for healthcare, public transport, regional development, and culture in the county. The IT department consists of 135 dedicated employees who drive the region's digital heart. In the IT workplace and support department, you will be part of a close-knit team of 25 people based in Växjö.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Your main focus areas:

• Proactive support: You handle troubleshooting and technical support for hardware and software (primarily Windows). We are increasingly moving towards being on-site in the operations where we can make the most impact.
• Efficiency focus: Through smart use of our ticketing system and remote control tools, you ensure that our users are quickly back on track. Time saved for our healthcare staff is time they can spend on patients.
• Continuous improvements: We do not believe in "the way we have always done it". You are expected to help refine our processes, suggest smarter routines, and contribute to an even smoother support journey.
• Precision administration: You manage account handling and permissions (AD) with accuracy and security in focus.
• Digital transition: Right now, we are working hard to help all of the region's operations transition into M365 and a new modern environment.

QUALIFICATIONS

Who are you?

To thrive in this role, we believe you love the combination of technology and people. You have a pedagogical flair and can explain the complex in a simple way, whether you are talking to a doctor under time pressure or an administrator in the office.

We are looking for someone who has:

• Education: At least high school diploma, preferably with an IT focus.
• Experience: Previous work in IT support or user support (preferably in a larger organization).
• Technical breadth: Good knowledge of Windows, printing environments, mobile platforms, and account management.
• Language: Fluent Swedish in speech and writing is a requirement to provide our users with the best possible support.
• Personality: You are outgoing, empathetic, and remain calm in a storm. You see solutions where others see obstacles and are driven to deliver service that exceeds expectations.
